Dr. Crider and the entire staff at AVL Regenerative Orthopedics are awesome. They were immediately reachable whenever I have had concerns. I've had back pain since I was 50. Then when I got into my 70s it all intensified. I had arthritis, bulging discs, spinal narrowing and overall degeneration. Dr. Crider understood and was compassionate of the pain I was experiencing. I had a bad parachute landing while serving in the U.S. Airborne in 2002. As I aged it progressively worsened. It would give out, pop, and had limited mobility. In 2019 I had the meniscus "cleaned out". It was worse than before, more pain and instability. My doctor said if the pain does not go away, that the next step would be a knee replacement. I was 53 yrs old. My wife found Regenexx. My goal was where I could walk without pain. At this time my knee was basically bone on bone. I had the stem cell therapy in Apr 2022. Platelet Rich Plasma in Nov 2022 on that knee, a meniscus tear on other knee and my lower back which has been problematic since the 2002 injury. The difference was amazing. Dr. Lehman performed a combination prolotherapy, stem cell therapy and platelet rich plasma therapy on my right shoulder 4 months ago. My condition, at age 67, includes advanced arthritis, two rotator cuff tears, and a biceps tendon tear (all no doubt the result of 30 years in martial arts). Keeping expectations realistic, our objective was to reduce pain after I play my newfound sport of pickleball -- enough hopefully to avoid or at least significantly delay surgery. As it has only been 4 months, the ultimate outcome for me is uncertain. But so far, I have experienced a significant reduction in pain and am able to play pickleball as long as I don't overdo or play too frequently. I have been diligent with physical therapy, which has also been helpful. I hope to continue improving over the coming months. For 30 years I have had knee pain related to an old football injury. I am in highway and heavy construction so im always on my feet working, walking slopes and ditch line. Reovered use of shoulder without surgery and extensive recovery time, how thrilled I am with how the stem cell/platelets treatment you provided has restored my shoulder rotator cuff tear to 85% or better of former use!  I recently chain sawed and stacked about 20 logs for firewood, happily dig in the garden, lift heavy objects, and can even sleep on that shoulder. Dr. Crider listens well and provided a therapy of PRP vs. stem cells for my rotator cuff injury.
